System Requirements

ASP.NET Maker

• Windows 2012 R2 / 2016 / 2019 / 2022 / 7 SP1 / 8.1 / 10 (>= version 1607) / 11 (Windows 10/11 on ARM is NOT supported)
• .NET Framework 4.7.2 Developer Pack (or newer)
• .NET SDK 6.0.405 (or newer) or .NET SDK 7.0.102 (or newer) (x86/x64 according to your Windows)
• Node.js (includes npm) (v16 or newer, includes npm v8 or newer)

If you use SQL Server or Oracle, ASP.NET Maker requires the following database drivers (x86 versions) to connect to the database:

• Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Native Client (for Microsoft SQL Server), OR Microsoft OLE DB Driver for SQL Server (for Microsoft SQL Server)
• Oracle Client (Optional, for Oracle)

Support for Microsoft Access is deprecated and will be removed from next major version.

Server

• ASP.NET Core Runtime 6.0.13 or 7.0.2 (or newer, note that .NET 7 does NOT support Windows 7/8)
• On Windows, make sure you install the Hosting Bundle, which includes the .NET Runtime and IIS support.

Browser

• Chrome/Edge/Firefox/Safari/Opera (latest)
• Internet Explorer is NOT supported

Installation

ASP.NET Maker can co-exist with previous version of ASP.NET Maker. You do NOT need to uninstall previous version of ASP.NET Maker if you don't want to.

Double-click on the downloaded executable to start the installation process. Follow the prompts and change the settings whenever necessary.
